ḤADĪTH OF THE DAY

“ It is of the sunnah (the Prophet's tradition)(1) that the tashahhud (2) be recited silently. Footnotes: (1) Record of the tradition of prophet Muḥammad, peace and blessings of God be upon him, including his sayings, actions, biography, physical and behavioral depiction, and his approval of something said or done by his companions in his presence. (2) An invocation that is recited in the middle and at the end of prayer, while sitting. ”

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الأَزْدِىُّ الْبَصْرِىُّ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَابِقٍ عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم لَيْسَ الْمُؤْمِنُ بِالطَّعَّانِ وَلاَ اللَّعَّانِ وَلاَ الْفَاحِشِ وَلاَ الْبَذِىءِ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ وَقَدْ رُوِىَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مِنْ غَيْرِ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ.
