ḤADĪTH OF THE DAY

“ 'Adī Ibn-Ḥātim said, "Messenger of God, I hunt an animal and after a while I find my arrow in it (1)." The Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, replied, "If you are sure that your arrow is what killed it and you do not see marks of a ferocious animal on it, then [you may] eat it." Footnotes: (1) I.e., the hunter loses sight of the animal and does not see it fall dead. ”
